The mission of the Katie McBride Foundation is to honor the memory of Katie and the families of all childhood leukemia victims and other life-threatening diseases. The Foundation's primary objective is to honor Katie while raising important funds to assist families in financial need, provide awareness of the Ronald McDonald House Long Island and the family support services it provides, and support other local worthy causes. Since 2010, the Katie McBride Foundation has donated nearly $1,000,000 to the Ronald McDonald House, families in need, local charities, and scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional volunteer service to the community.
