My name is Rich Twomley currently residing in Savannah , GA where I serve in the U.S. Army. Running the NYC marathon has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. To be given the opportunity to achieve this goal is amazing, and to be able to do it while bringing awareness to the Katie McBride Foundation is an absolute privilege. I was first introduced to the foundation in 2011 when I ran the 5K Katie’s Run, which was also the first organized race that I participated in. Since then, I have been an avid runner and have enjoyed the running community due to the support and motivation that is common among all.
