My name is Loreen Lawrence and I am thrilled to be running the New York City Marathon to support The Katie McBride Foundation. I have seen first-hand the incredible work this organization does for families in need, especially for Aiden Schaefer (pictured above) and JoJo Caccamo, both of whom are “Katie’s Kids” and children of close friends. This foundation is successful because of the generosity and inspiration provided by The McBride Family and people like you and me. The Katie McBride Foundation has been able to provide families with 'out of the box' support, allowing these families to function day to day.
While this will be my first full marathon, I regularly participate in local runs including the LI half marathon, The Katie McBride run, the RVC 5k/10k as well as the Tunnel to Towers (a favorite of mine). When not running, I am a small business owner, a yoga instructor and a Rising Stars basketball coach. Please help me by offering your financial support for the Katie McBride Foundation.
