Today, Mike McBride and John Kelly of the Katie McBride Foundation made a special visit to the South Bronx to the Sewer Family. 16 year old Kymani Sewer is the Fordham Men's Basketball Team Ambassador and is stricken with brain cancer. At the request of the team coach, the Katie McBride Foundation purchased two air conditioning units and installed them in the family's apartment with the help of Jose Soto of Fordham University Facilities and Mike DePaoli, Director of Men's Basketball Operations. The apartment did not have AC and will now provide much relief and comfort to the family in their time of need. Ky is joined in the photo by his mom Lakeya and younger brother Kahsi.
