My name is Jackie Prevete and I am proud to say that I am teaming up with the Katie McBride Foundation to run the 2018 NYC Marathon. I am a 2009 graduate of Fordham University and was a distance runner and team captain for Fordham’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Having run the NYC Marathon last year for the Foundation, I cannot imagine running for a better or more worthy cause in memory of Katie. I also work in the medical field as a practicing podiatrist. While helping people is part of my daily life, this opportunity to run representing such an amazing organization is a kind of giving back on an entirely different level. It is truly an honor to run for the Katie McBride Foundation and I look forward to running in her memory on November 4th.
