My name is Dan Byrnes. I am embracing the challenge to train for and hopefully cross the finish line of the NYC Marathon. It will be my first NYC Marathon. I have been a runner since high school. Minor injuries and father time have slowed my pace but not my heart! I look forward to running in memory of Katie. The Katie McBride Foundation honors her life by lifting the burden of families coping with the devastation of caring for an ill child. Her family's dedication to her foundation demonstrates their courage to live a life of remembrance with honor every day. My run is dedicated to the entire McBride family.
